Car buys on demand water heater through Car Title Loans in Chattanooga
Monday, October 27th, 2008How often do you hear about a woman who scrounges up $1200 to invest in a water heater instead of shoes on sale? You do if you know girls who plan to buy great shoes for 20 years into the future.
I went to Car Title Loans in Chattanooga to get the money. This is where they use your car for collateral. Mine is a 2001 Toyota, good for $4000 in cash. Despite my bad credit, I completed the online application. I got almost instant approval. My $1200 arrived in one day. (And I avoided going to that title loans store on Rossville Boulevard.)
Why go to all that trouble? I needed a water heater because the old one was not long for this world. And, I wanted an on-demand water heater. Why? They use a third less energy and reduce water consumption by about 6 gallons a day. Why now? The deal gets sweet here for two reasons: a store near Fort Oglethorpe is offering them at a 20% discount off the full $1200 price (delivery and installation included). When you take delivery in 2009, you get a $300 federal tax credit because it’s good for the environment. That’s more than a $500 savings off the top. Plus, monthly energy and water bills go down through the life of the new heater – which is where the shoes will come from.
I used that online auto title loan to get my water heater and any other time I need fast cash. And as I keep that old Corolla chugging along, I’ll be sure not to wear my shoes out, either.
