This economy is making life harder.  But my husband and I are learning new ways to manage difficulties and we want to share it with others.

First, life is really tough when you face an emergency but you have bad credit and no extra cash. A couple months ago for us it was a broken refrigerator.  We called a repairman, but he said the cost would be around $500.  A new one might cost $400.  But even that was not something we had spare cash for.

But we heard that the builders of some apartments near the University of Tennessee quit construction because of the economy. They were selling off new appliances for half price. Only $200 for the refrigerator we needed, and we knew you’d never see a deal like this in the store.  That’s a big savings, plus it would use less electricity than the old fridge.

I figured those refrigerators would sell fast, so I just decided that since we needed fast cash, we’d get it some way, some how.  

Then my husband said we own the car since we finished the payments three years ago. That could get us a loan through Car Title Loans in Chattanooga. They offered me $800 in a title loan but all I needed was the $200. I filled out the online application on the internet. That $200 was in my checking account the next morning.  

I’m so happy we managed to do this.  I reckon a loan with car title store like this is something more people are going to use in the future.
